Kegal exercises should form part of every women’s weekly routine. It’s important to keep  the pelvic floor muscles toned for a number of reasons. Weak pelvic muscles can lead  to some embarrassing problems which include urine leakage more commonly known as  stress incontinence. It is also important to remember that it is not just women who have  recently given birth or are approaching menopause age that should carry out pelvic floor exercise, its all adult women.

Thankfully it doesn’t necessary mean that you need to carry out manual exercise to strengthen you pelvic floor, as there are a range of devices on the market that make life a lot easier.

There are many different styles available depending on your needs, below are our
reviews of the Kegal range of exercisers.

Kegalmaster

Kegal Master

The Kegalmaster has been a well publicised pelvic floor exerciser and the results have been superb. If you can already contract your pelvic floor muscles then this is the exerciser for you. The Kegalmaster offers varying resistance, so the longer you use it the harder you can up the setting which will in time make your vaginal muscles much stronger. The muscles in the body get used to the same regular exercise, so to further improve and strengthen increased resistance is required. Increasing the strength of the pelvic floor means better support for your uterus, rectum and bladder (which in turn will stop any leakage of urine) and you will also experience larger contractions during orgasm.

If you are not able to actually contract the pelvic floor muscles then you need to
provide them with stimulation which the Kegal8 is more suited to.

Kegal8 tight and tone

Kegal tight & tone

The Kegal8 tight and tone is a small handheld device which has a small probe. The probe is inserted into the vagina and small electronic pulses are sent from the device and into the probe to stimulate the muscles. This stimulation makes the muscles relax and contract so effectively doing the pelvic floor exercises for you. The Kegal8 tight and tone has various preset settings so that the stimulation can be increased as you use it more.

The Kegal8 has been known to provide results within just a few weeks of use. Which can free you from the embarrassment of stress incontinence and help restore your confidence and freedom.

Kegal8 Ultra Plus

Kegal 8 Ultra

The Kegal8 Ultra Plus is very similar to the tight and tone version, and works in the same way. However this upgraded version is supplied with 2 styles of probes so that you can choose the one that is most comfortable for you. The handheld device is also slightly different and the unit comes with 14 preset programmes allowing use for all levels of pelvic floor excises. Whilst this unit is a little more expensive we think that the extra few quid is worth the upgrade.

Currently priced at £154.99
